Double Safety Bedrail is an essential item for transitioning your child from a crib to a bed.
Unique design allows for quick, easy and secure installation.
Each panel measures 42.5 L x 21 H inches to accommodate thicker mattresses. Accommodates up to 21.02 inches (53.4 cm) wide mattresses.
Accommodates twin to queen sized mattresses and platform beds. There are two small knobs on the arm of the bedrail. They need to be pushed up and then the rail will fold down. One side folds down for easy access to the bed, allowing parents to sit bedside or change linens
Meets current ASTM F2085 bedrail standards. Use only on adult bed with mattress and box spring or platform bed(support board 5/8 inches nominal thickness).

I bought this product for use on our twin bed when our grandson comes for a sleepover. I was very pleased to find that it is sturdy, easy to assemble and provided a safe alternative to a crib or toddler bed. I especially liked that it has rails on both sides so that the bed did not need to be placed against a wall. Also it is easy to disassemble to take when travelling.
Can not say enough good things about these. They installed relatively easily and more importantly have kept our almost 2-year-old son safe and secure in his new big boy bed. With a new baby on the way, we decided to transition our son to a full-size bed in his new room and needed bed rails. After doing a lot of research about options we landed on the Summer Infant Safety Bedrails. Not only was the price right but the mesh sides and collapsable side make changing the linens a breeze. Would definitely buy again.
