Made in a classic floral style with some of the prettiest 'bluest of blue' tear drop cuts of Sleeping Beauty turquoise on the exterior of the earring & then used for a little contrast in the design are both a larger center & small round cuts of blue Royston turquoise on the interior of the design. Absolutely beautiful on the ear,these are a larger clip style earring that can take you to a day at the office & then zip off into the evening!

THE TURQUOISE:
Since the Arizona Sleeping Beauty mine closed some years back,this particular turquoise has only increased in price & especially when you get your hands on the higher grade cuts that haven't been treated by man as you'll find in this listing!With the higher grades,you will be able to 'see' what separates gem quality turquoise apart from the lower grades & when you familiarize your self with turquoise & start become a avid collector,you will be able to see the "natural turquoise/quality factor" more & more.Sleeping Beauty turquoise is known for it's lack of matrix character that much of turquoise is widely known for & can actually look 'fake' to some,because of this.It is however, an artists choice of turquoise when they want uniformity in color, where there is no variation in tone.
