We are offering a Gene Autry Show Souvenir Program. This was a musical variety show that was held in Worcester, Massachusetts on February 22, 1953. Gene appeared with his horse, Champion and Little Champ, along with Hoosier Hot Shots, Cass County Boys, Pat Buttram, Johnny Bond, Carl Cotner, Gail Davis and others. Inserted in the program is a newspaper clipping of Autry with his expansive collection of cowboot boots in his Hollywood home.The program tells the story of Gene Autry from his early life in Texas and in Oklahoma, to the man who became the nation's good-will ambassador, the No. 1 cowboy box office attraction on the screen, on radio and television, on the stage, on records, and in rodeo arenas. There are also stories on the other cowboy personalities who performed with him. The program has great advertisements: Gene Autry's comic books, Gene Autry's records (Columbia Records), and Gene Autry's movies.
CONDITION: Program is in Excellent Condition. A pencil notation at the top of the first page reads "Worcester, MA February 22, 1953".
